Everything Everywhere chief executive Tom Alexander suggests 2011 will be the year networks tell for and against operators
“For the last two decades, billions have been spent on UK infrastructure.
“What customers have been served in that time has been broadly similar in terms of coverage, capacity and speed.
“Now, some operators have started to struggle and have pledged huge sums to patch up problems.
“We are about to switch on Britain’s first supernetwork.
“Smartphones will continue to be the device of choice.
“We will also see the electronic wallet and NFC devices enter the market.”
