Telstra today launched a new Next G mobile built tough for Aussies who work and play outdoors. The new Telstra Tough 2 features a rugged design, is water and dust resistant and enclosed in an abrasion-resistant case. Telstra Executive Director Mobility Products, Warwick Bray, said thousands of Australians work in the field, on construction sites and out on the road every day and need a phone that can handle the wear and tear of life on the go.
“Many of our customers tell us they’re looking for a mobile rugged enough to support their active lifestyles. The Telstra Tough 2 is more durable than the average mobile and provides the functionality customers need to be connected and productive in harsh environments.

“It’s great-value too with customers able to purchase the Telstra Tough 2 on a range of plans including for $10 per month on a $20 Mobile Member Plan for 24 months (min cost $720).
“Our business customers can purchase the Telstra Tough 2 for $0 upfront on a Telstra Business Mobile Maximiser $49 Plan over 24 months (min cost is $1,176). This plan includes $450 worth of standard national calls and messages and 1GB of data to use in Australia,” Mr Bray added.
