Quickoffice, Inc., the global leader in mobile office productivity solutions, continued its aggressive growth during the first quarter of 2011, unveiling numerous major product enhancements and expanding its network of mobile handset alliances. Providing dramatic enhancements to its productivity software for both Android smartphones and the iPad, Quickoffice also launched a new custom-built app for Android tablets, called Quickoffice Pro HD. The company announced strategic partnerships with Samsung and Notion Ink, as it continued to expand distribution and grow market share.

Quickoffice Pro for Android 2.0-2.3 smartphones features more advanced Microsoft Office editing features to help increase productivity on the go. The latest update also provides integrated contextual search and the ability to create PowerPoint presentations, a highly requested user feature. Optimized for larger Android tablet screens, Quickoffice Pro HD is a new app that delivers desktop-like creating, viewing and editing capabilities of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, as well as integrated access to various cloud storage providers. Quickoffice delivers a superior tablet experience by combining its proprietary SmartTouch technology with Google’s latest native Honeycomb OS elements in one comprehensive, easy-to-use app. On the iPad, Quickoffice brought new social publishing capabilities via SlideShare, Scribd and Docstoc, added support for Apple’s iOS AirPrint functionality and the ability to save files as PDFs.

Quickoffice’s OEM partnerships with Samsung and Notion Ink further expanded its Android market presence. The software now ships on the latest Galaxy series tablet and smartphones, along with Adam tablet. Other newly announced devices will come pre-loaded with Quickoffice’s Office viewing-only software, including the HTC ThunderBolt, HP TouchPad, HP Veer, Dell Venue Pro, Motorola ATRIX 4G, Motorola XOOM, Motorola CLIQ and DROID BIONIC.

“Quickoffice’s strong Q1 is a testament to our ongoing growth and success in the mobile app marketplace across all the popular platforms and we continue to view our direct-to-consumer sales and OEM relationships as equally important to our business growth,” said Alan Masarek, CEO. “It’s an exciting time in the industry, with the merging of powerful new mobile devices and cloud solutions, and we plan to continue to take advantage of these developments and bring further innovations and enhancements, as we grow our business in new and existing markets.”
