Well with the expected release of HTC’s newest handset the HTC Sensation in the UK next month, there is some good news for those in India, as the smartphone is believed to arrive on your shores in Q2, possibly May or June.
It has been confirmed by HTC that the ‘Sensation’ will be available for the Asian market in Q2 of this year. The HTC Sensation was revealed in London on the 12th April and is the first ever HTC phone to feature the latest HTC sense 3.0 UI and 1.2 Ghz processor supplied by Qualcomm.
Now according to HTC, through its official Twitter account and coming to us by way of The Mobile Indian the latest HTC Sense 3.0 UI will only be supported by newer devices and will not be available for older devices. However, as we reported on 15 April 2011, hackers may have already infiltrated the Sense 3.0 and figured out how to incorporate some elements of it on to existing phones.
We are still unsure what price the HTC Sensation will command when it is released on the Asian market, but with the kind of hardware the new smartphone comes with we can only speculate that it will be more than Rs 30,000.
