AT&T Announces New Slate of GoPhone Data Plans

On top of this weekend’s forthcoming release of the LG Thrive, AT&T has revived its dedicated GoPhone data plans with included access to AT&T’s Wi-Fi network and reduced overage fees.

The new plans start at 500MB of data access for $25 month, 10MB for $5 per month and 100MB for $15 per month, all with access to AT&T’s network of Wi-Fi hotspots. The new data plans must be paired with the new smartphone $0.10 per minute plan or the new $2 per day unlimited smartphone talk and text plan. AT&T has also decreased overage fees from $0.01/Kb to $0.01/5Kb of data transfer per session once the monthly allotment is used up.
