Android Asus Eee Pad Transformer Tablet UK Stock Sold Out

It would appear that over here in the UK the Android tablet from Asus, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is doing rather well, in as much as the tablet is now out of stock in the UK and wont be available to purchase for a few more weeks.

According to an article over on The Inquirer, overwhelming demand for the Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet has caused retailers to run out of stock, with Asus saying initial batched of the Android tablet have entirely sold out.

Asus hasn’t been able to come forward with any sales figures for the Eee Pad Transformer, but has said that demand for the Android device “has been far beyond our expectations.”

However, if you are after picking up the tablet, Amazon UK is offering the device for 429.99 complete with its keyboard dock, but has an availability date of the 1st of June.

Although if you simply can’t wait to get your hands on the 10.1-inch NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core Asus Eee Pad apparently more stock of the Android table will become available to PC World, Carphone Warehouse, Comet and Currys in the coming weeks.
