O2 signs two-year deal with La Senza

Operator claims contract to provide retailer with all phone lines reduces its fixed line costs by 27 per cent

O2 has signed a two-year contract with high street lingerie retailer La Senza in the UK to provide it with its fixed lines, adding to the contract it has supplying it with mobiles.

The operator said that by joining up both fixed and mobile services, it has been able to drive efficiency and reduce the complexity of mobile suppliers, helping reduce La Senza’s fixed line costs by 27 per cent.

Adding to its existing contract to supply mobile phones, O2 will now also provide La Senza with all its phone lines across its 180 stores, three distribution centres and its head office. O2 will also provide services to assess the efficiency of lines, remove duplication and reduce wastage.

O2 UK general manager for enterprise David Plumb (pictured) said: “Consolidating suppliers is one of the most economical ways of ensuring that businesses operate as efficiently as possible.

“La Senza’s decision to join up both its fixed and mobile suppliers by expanding its relationship with O2 strengthens our position as a trusted partner and strategic advisor for our business customers.”

La Senza UK and Ireland infrastructure manager Paul Erskine said: “O2 has been providing La Senza with our mobile communication solution for four years. When it announced that it was providing fixed lines, it was an easy decision to move our fixed line estate to O2 as well.”
