Android Tablet of Archos Arnova for $99

Archos has just rolled out its new barebones Android tablet the Archos Arnova 7 which has just completed its way through the FCC and is now available to buy for just $99. Archos explains that the Archos Arnova 7 has been developed to bridge the gap between smartphones and the PC, and comes running Froyo 2.2.

The Arnova 7 barebones tablet is equipped with a 7 inch, widescreen resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixel. The tablet comes with a number of pre-installed applications ready to use straight out of the box. But you will also provide you with access to free and paid-for applications directly from the AppsLib app store, including games, news, communication and utilities apps.

The Arnova 7 is fitted with an internal 4GB memory for storage, supports mp3, wav, ape, agg and flac audio files and .avi, .mp4, .mkv, .mov, and .flv video files together with H.264 up to 720p resolution – 30 fps / 5 Mbps, MPEG-4 – 30 fps / 2.5 Mbps and Realvideo up to 720p resolution – 30 fps / 2.5 Mbps.
