Official: Nokia to adopt Windows Phone as smartphone operating system [live video]
This is probably the biggest news of the decade, if not the century. Known to shun outside-developed OS, Nokia has announced a partnership with Microsoft, and it isn’t just any partnership, its one that involves the adoption of Windows Phone 7 as Espoo’s new “principal smartphone strategy.” Now, if there’s still any doubt in your minds that Symbian is on its way out, this latest development should be the final nail in Nokia’s beleaguered OS’ proverbial coffin.

Fido exclusively releases the Sony Ericsson “Cedar”
The eco-friendly Sony Ericsson J108 GreenHeart phone, or simple known as the Cedar, is now available in Canada exclusively on Fido. This entry-level device sports a 2.2-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, 3,5mm jack, and comes bundles with several social networking apps such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter. It’s retailing for just $10 on a 2-year contract or $110 without one.
