Presently as they have in the UK, pre-orders have started for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc in India as well. PlayStation-esque Xperia Play may have stolen some of the Arc’s thunder in terms of geek cred, but this is in no way an uninteresting device.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is now available to pre-order from Flipkart. However price of this device for now is Rs. 28,990 and that fits well with the expected recommended retail price for this device which should be around Rs. 30,000.
Good news for the potential customers is that the phone will start shipping in the second week of April. Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has a 4.2-inch capacitive screen with mobile Bravia engine, 720p HD video recording, 512 MB of RAM, 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8 MP Exmor R camera with auto-focus and LED flash, HDMI out, plus all the usual bells and whistles like Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
