Android Froyo T-Mobile G2x, And Other Mobile Gear Unveiled

So the word is T-Mobile has now unveiled their latest smartphone along with some more mobile gear, and also announced that they will be doubling their HSPA+ speeds initially in Las Vega, New York, Orlando, Long Island, Northern New Jersey and then Chicago.

According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report the latest smartphone introduced by T-Mobile is the T-Mobile G2x, an LG made Android 2.2 Froyo handset sporting a 4-inch touch screen, 8 megapixel camera and a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

T-Mobile also unveiled their first 4G mobile hotspot made by ZTE, which apparently will enable a connection via WiFi of up to five devices to the 21 Mbps device that weighs 2.64 ounces and is called the Rocket 3.0, and is to be the first 4G gear to take advantage of the new 42 Mbps service.

Apparently the Rocket 3.0 will join both the prepaid Rocket 4G and T-Mobile Jet 2.0 laptop sticks and all the above with the exception of the Jet 2.0 will apparently launch later in the spring while the jet 2.0 will launch on the 23rd of this month.
