The last things we heard from Microsoft and Nokia about the new Nokia Windows Phone 7 devices, that we should expect to see some Nokia WP7 handsets launching some time in October of 2011.
Now it seems that this may not happen and we may actually have to wait until next year to see the first Nokia Windows Phone 7 smartphone hit the stores.
A 2012 launch for Nokia’s Windows Phone 7 devices would see them come with the next major release of Windows Phone 7 which is scheduled to be released near the end of 2011.
According to Wired the next major release of Windows Phone 7 will actually be released to handset manufacturers some time near the end of this year, so this could explain why we won’t see any Windows Phone 7 devices from Nokia until 2012.
