Well now that it is getting close to the release of the Apple iPad 2 it appears some are looking to shift remaining stock of the old Apple iPad to make way for the expected boom in sales for the latest Apple iOS tablet.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report, AT&T is following in the footsteps of Apple and has dropped the asking price of the original Apple iPad by some 100 bucks, both online and in their retail stores.
Thus if you are contemplating picking up the original iPad rather than opting for the second-generation tablet, as of now you can grab the device from AT&T for $529 for the 16GB model, $629 for the 32GB model, and $729 for the 64GB version.
So if the Apple iPad was a tad out of your price range before you might just be able to afford the device now, anyone interested in snapping up the lower prices iOS tablet over the Apple iPad 2?
