LG Optimus Sol Shines Official after Quick Leak

In about a week’s time after the leak has been out, LG now announces the Optimus Sol as the newest lineup of Android phones that sport Android Gingerbread. The name of the new device is not just given as a name, but has specs and other details that really stand up with what is being featured. It has 2.3.3 Android Gingerbread, a 1GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel rear end camera. It includes a 3.8-inch “Ultra AMOLED” screen and a unique UI that optimizes the sun.

The new AMOLED is different from other display functions due to its advanced adaptability with displaying visuals, even with the high sunlight. The image does not experience quality reduction or color difference with the sun being up. Another unique feature is the Dark UI where the light being used in the phone’s graphics lessen the white, which can save up to an additional 20% or 30% of battery usage. The device is said to be out in mid-September.
